I just discovered this place tucked in the middle of an industrial area of Salt Lake and it is fantastic! Places that let you build your own sandwich are a win in my book, and the fact that they have some of the best bread I've had in a long time adds to my love of this establishment. I typically get there close to closing time so I've never been able to try their soups, but the chili is great. Just enough heat to make your mouth warm, but not too spicy that you hate life later. The price is also very reasonable. I typically get the soup and sandwich combo which comes with a cookie (always soft and moist) and a drink (your choice of fountain or can). It is just the right amount of food, and for under $8 is a great deal considering the freshness of it all. I try to support local businesses where I can, and this is one place that will keep my business.

Excellent service, excellent food. I was making a presentation to 8 people and these folks nailed the food part of it. The delivery was on time, the mixture of sandwiches that they selected was perfect, everything was there, and my customers were very pleased!!

this place has the best bread for starters and they cook the own roast beef.A when they build your sadwhich is awsome to say th least.A nd for get there daiy special they are great to.They use only stone ground bread it is the best. The box lunch is probally the best deal

I've been here twice for lunch and I wasn't wow'd either time. It's okay but not great. The bread for the sandwiches is good and the soup is good. However, the sandwich was just okay. The menu says you can get a box lunch with a salad but by salad they do not mean something with lettuce but instead potato or macaroni salad. The cookie with the box lunch is good. Given that there are not many good sandwich places in the area, I'll be back and maybe next time I'll be impressed.

We have had an office within walking distance of this deli for three years. Today was my first visit, but will definitely not be my last! The bread was amazing. I will eat there quite often!

Rose canyon deli is a mom and pop owned shandwich shop I think is the best in the whole area there. For the price of a subway meal you can get a box lunch which includes full sandwich made from stoneground bread co. and good portion of meat and veggies also comes with you choice of Mac salad or potato salad, and a bag of chips with a drink and a cookie to top it all off. Fills you up great and keeps your pocket feeli g good. Keep it local and give ross canyon deli a shot.

Great mellow place to grab lunch. There are a bunch of us at work that frequent the deli. Big fan of the specials and the soups. Food is delicious, service is awesome. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Make sure to ask what the special is for the day!

I would give a higher rating, however the staff is not friendly. The older lady (they don't wear name tags), was very rude to me. She made it seem as if I was interrupting her day by coming in. I thought it was just her, then heard another employee interact with a customer and she was the same way. The sandwiches however are fantastic. They have a small menu, sandwiches, soups, salads, and a hot daily special, but it is delish.

We were visiting a customer the other day and came across the Rose Canyon Deli. This small cafe isn't much to look at from the outside but they do serve up some pretty decent grub. In addition to a wide variety of sandwiches and the typical deli offerings, they also serve a hot daily special. The day we visited the lunch special was chicken enchiladas for only $8. The enchiladas were served up fresh and the flavor was very good. They were also moist, unlike a lot of dry chicken enchiladas I've had at other restaurants, which I really liked. I can't speak for anything else at Rose Canyon Deli but the chicken enchiladas were tasty and I would go back the next time I'm in the area.

I feel like I just went to my grandma's for lunch, and I love that. Great sandwich and soup combos! A small mom and pop deli. I will definitely be back!
